Its not just about Learning about Academic Syllabus material , but also a lot about how various things work , about science, civic issues, the social structure, the diversity, History, architecture,
A well designed and organaized field trip can easily Inspire many to think beyond their usual thinking.
The Hindustan Aeronautical Limited has a beautiful Museum the biggest one in Asia specially dedicated to Military Aircrafts,
In display are some of the Aircrafts, helicopters, Trainers, Engines, RADARS and a lot of Amazing and educative material enough to kindle new imagination in everyone.
this included an Audio Visual show highlighting about the HIstory of HAl and also Indian Military Aviation.
Our next Stop the Nehru Planetarium is situated in the Heart of bangalore, The theater has vrious shows , both in Kannada and in english,
the kannada show started at :02:30 pm ,
however before the show we had enough time for the choldren to play in the science park inside the premises , and we had also organized for sumptious meals for all at this place.
the audio visual show covers some interesting topics related to Astronomy, Planets, stars, Galaxies, , this was very exciting .
After visiting the Planetarium the team moved towards Visvesvaraya Technological and Industrial Museum, on the way passed by the Vidhana Soudha, High Court, and some of the important Buildings in Karnataka,
The Museum Visit was exciting and very informative to children, various sections in the Museum encouraged kids to look beyond and think much Beyond, an eye opener for many,
The Bus travel itself was filled with Fun and Joy and the whole bus was in high pitch energy with some of the choiciest Songs over games of Antakshari,
lets have the pictures do some Speaking
so The trip came to a conclusion with all returning to their homes, the teachers have asked for more such trips and if possible for multiple days trip ,
the other aspect of these field trips is they give the teachers a time to look at students in a different environment . and within teachers too there is a different connect .
As for me I am a total outdoor person and love experiential education, I had a lot of fun interacting with children guiding them thropugh the trip .
